This privacy statement explains which personal data Progredients IT processes on progredients.com and in SAM (Simple Appointment Manager), why, for how long, and what your rights are.

Who we are
Progredients IT is a Dutch company. You can reach us at info@progredients.com or through our contact page.
What we process, and why
- Visiting the website. We do not use tracking or analytics. Our hosting provider keeps web server logs (IP address, browser and the page requested) for security and to diagnose problems.
- The contact form. Your name, email address, subject and message are sent to us by email, so that we can answer you. They are not stored in our database.
- Your SAM account. Your name, email address, the date you confirmed it and when you last logged in. A password is stored only as a secure hash, never as text. If you log in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. We need this to provide your account.
- Security. For login and password reset attempts we record the email address and IP address, to stop people guessing passwords. These records are deleted after one day.
- Businesses using SAM. The business details, its members and their roles, staff, credit purchases and the credit balance. For a payment we store the order, the amount and the payment's reference at Mollie, not your bank or card details.
- Customers of those businesses. The data a business enters: names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, appointments and their history, whether a customer agreed to receive WhatsApp messages, the reminders sent, and a customer's confirmation or cancellation.
We process this data to provide SAM under our agreement with you, to protect the service against abuse (our legitimate interest), and to keep the financial records the law requires. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Data that businesses enter about their customers
When a business uses SAM for its appointments, that business decides which customer data it enters and why: the business is the controller, and Progredients IT processes the data on its behalf, as a processor under the GDPR. A processing agreement between Progredients IT and each business is being prepared and will become part of our terms of use. Are you a customer of a business that uses SAM? Then please contact that business first with questions about your data; we help the business answer them.
Who receives data
- TransIP hosts the website, the database and the mailbox that sends our emails, in data centres in the Netherlands.
- Mollie handles payments for credits. You enter your payment details at Mollie, not with us.
- Google, only when you choose to log in with your Google account.
We share data with nobody else, unless the law obliges us to.
How long we keep data
- Account, business and customer data: as long as the account or business exists. Ask us and we delete it. A business can also deactivate customers itself.
- Payment records: seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.
- Login and password reset attempts: one day.
- Links in emails: a password reset link is valid for one hour, an email confirmation link for 24 hours, an invitation for seven days (and is deleted 30 days later), and the link in a reminder until the appointment has ended.
- Our application logs: 14 days.

We use only functional cookies, which the site needs to work. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for permission.

Security
The site is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as secure hashes, and each business can only see its own data.
Your rights
You have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a usable format. Email us at info@progredients.com; we answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
When SAM changes, for example when WhatsApp reminders are added, we update this statement. The date at the top shows the latest version.
